"I think Joe's greatest strength is his ability to make people more interested. I really thought that crypto was super lame going into this class and I was only taking it since it was a prerequisite to the FinTech minor. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the space was far more interesting than I gave it credit for. I want to commend Joe for not making the class all about bitcoin mining or ETH trading, but actually focusing on major financial innovations in this century and how blockchain and DeFi feed into that.
